Steel Dynamics, Inc. Expansion
Terre Haute
This large industrial project for Steel Dynamics Inc. included a 32+ acre ALTA survey. After the construction of the new 390,000-square-foot cold steel plant was underway, Align also provided water main staking and as-builts.
​Wabash Valley Resources
Vigo County, IN
Align performed aerial survey mapping of 72+ acres using Drone/UAV to capture 3D data imagery and conduct a topographic survey. The survey also located and annotated the size and depth of above and below-ground utilities within the survey limits. Align’s surveyors performed a topographic survey along S.R. 63 and Staunton Rd, then completed an ALTA survey of the area and developed a platted commercial subdivision.
Borman Expressway
La Porte, Indiana
The I-80 and I-94 Borman Expressway (AKA Flexroad) is currently one of the largest and most advanced surveys Align has recently undertaken. This topographic survey is being performed for ITS installation, and roadway design, along one of the busiest most complex, and dangerous highways in the State of Indiana. The overall length of the project is 33 linear miles, 15 miles of mainline, and 18 miles of ramps and loops.
INDOT DMS-11-SITES
Marion County: I-65, I-74, I-64
This large and complex survey consisted of eleven miles of alignment generation with DMS site topography for ITS installation. Align also located and collected data on 4 separate ramp locations on I-465 and located utilities. Data was collected using LiDAR and GPS.
IND-Runway 14/32 Rehabilitation
Indianapolis International Airport
Align performed a successful survey along Runway 14/32 for 11taxiways and multiple ramp areas. In total, the survey encompassed approximately 340 acres. Align's crews worked in partnership with airport operations on a daily basis, providing daily progress reports and field operation coordination.
I-70 Ten Bridge Survey
Vigo County, IN
Align assisted INDOT with alignment generation, right-of-way location, and topographic surveying of ten bridges along 1-70 in Vigo County. The surveys were completed using LiDAR acquisition and robotic ground topographic data collection.
Terre Haute Casino Resort
Terre Haute, IN
Align provided surveying, platting, and staking for the new Terre Haute Casino Resort. Once completed the $290 million hotel/casino will feature a 122-room luxury hotel with a pool, 5 restaurants, and 6 bars.
FWA Runway 14/32 Project
Fort Wayne International Airport, IN
Align provided supplementary topographic survey services of 300 acres at Fort Wayne International Airport in preparation for runway rehabilitation. Our services included as-built surveys, control surveys, mobile LiDAR Acquisition, and soil boring locations. Our crews located taxiways and managed communication with FWA operations throughout the project.
