Civil Engineer (EIT)

Align is searching for a talented Project Engineer to join our team! At Align, our team works on everything from transportation-related designs (highway, bridge, traffic, culvert), storm drainage design and analysis, site design, utility design and coordination, construction observation, and documentation.

Civil Engineer (EIT) Responsibilities:
• Development of project design criteria, design calculations, construction details, quantities, and cost
estimates
• Contribute to single & multi-discipline engineering projects and develop cost-effective design solutions
• Receive technical guidance from and collaborate with project team members including other engineers
and technical support staff
• Prepare and check design drawings and/or specifications
• Review and check engineering work completed by others
• Participate in the planning, design, and construction phases of projects
• Serve as a technical liaison with clients on project efforts
• Resolve problems, interpret engineering specifications, investigate design, and field engineering
difficulties, and coordinate schedules
