Align is searching for a talented Project Engineer to join our team! Individuals who are versatile and self-motivated will fit in well with our team of engineers working on a wide range of civil engineering projects. At Align, our team works on everything from transportation-related designs (highway, bridge, traffic, culvert), storm drainage design and analysis, site design, utility design and coordination, construction observation, and documentation.

What are the responsibilities and roles of this position?

Development of project design criteria, design calculations, construction details, quantities, and cost estimates
Contribute to single & multi-discipline engineering projects and develop cost-effective design solutions
Receive technical guidance from and collaborate with project team members including other engineers and technical support staff
Prepare and check design drawings and/or specifications
Review and check engineering work completed by others
Participate in the planning, design, and construction phases of projects
Serve as a technical liaison with clients on project efforts
Resolve problems, interpret engineering specifications, investigate design, and field engineering difficulties, and coordinate schedules

Where is this position located?

This job will be located in Greencastle, IN with some remote flexibility.
