About the Role
Align is seeking to bring on a new CAD/ Survey Technician to our growing team! As a CAD/ Survey Technician at Align, you will gain experience, assisting Licensed Surveyors with CAD related technical skills, including boundary plats, ALTA / NSPS, Route Survey Plats, Reports, and topographic survey drawings.

Align currently offers the very latest survey tools for our project needs, including remote communications capabilities and tele-communications tools, AutoCAD Civil 3D (2021), Micro-station, Trimble Business Center, Version 5.7, (data-collection and processing software), Trimble Access (cloud data-transfer). If you do not have experience with the listed software but have similar software experience and the desire to learn and train, please consider this as an opportunity.
In addition, Align offers remote possibilities as well. We are open to you either working from your residence or one of our 3 offices in Central Indiana, whichever is most convenient for you and your family.
Education / Experience preferred:
A (2) year degree preferred but not required
CAD experience in the following: AutoCAD, Inroads, and Openroads, these are the platforms preferred but not required
Use of standard industry surveying software, Trimble Business Center (TBC)
Ability to read road / bridge plans, interpret deeds, perform route and topographic surveys
